Veronica sommelier Tasting in Tuscany

and here I am, I’ll tell you something about myself, I’m a sommelier, I attended a professional training course, F.I.S.A.R., Italian Federation of Sommeliers, Hoteliers, Restaurateurs, and it’s a great joy to share this passion of mine with my customers , perhaps with a glass of wine and a breathtaking sunset. Talking about wine, giving advice on visits to wineries, suggesting purchases and why not…stimulating culinary curiosity with food-wine pairings, all this is a pleasure and for this reason I share with you a thought from Virginia Woolf, which I report in my b&b :” I like the spirit of meeting up, the no-frills conviviality, the presence of snowflakes, that of thick walls, holding a glass of wine in my hand for a couple of hours of absolute serenity” and so even before get to know us, I’ll tell you about a wine…

…I’ll start again from here, today I choose you” CUM LAUDE“, Toscana IGT, Castello di Banfi
Grapes: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Sangiovese, Syrah.
A super Tuscan that warms me with enveloping notes, a glass dressed in ruby red, a bouquet of red fruits, cascading cherries with a sparkle of spicy notes, licorice and pepper, a sprinkling of tobacco. The sense of smell introduces you to the taste, with sweet but powerful tannins, a sip that caresses you and persists.
A wine full of love, passion, courage, a wine for me, now and always!
